Finding himself unable to strike Ada, Code learns she never meant to snub him and had only worried about her breath after a long dormancy. She sends him off to the bar with Bug, where Code, already smitten, asks whether Ada returns his interest. A startled guard who spots Ada is talked into keeping quiet with a single request. Once Ada joins them, she demonstrates her Senrigan by peering in on Kawaki, who is bickering with Team 7 over training methods.

Through Ada's window into Konoha, Kawaki spars with his squad and then agrees to a decisive bout against Boruto, the winner setting the training regimen. Meanwhile Ada lays out what Code truly wants, the removal of his limiters, and explains that only Amado can lift them, requiring the man's iris scan and a spoken code she herself does not know. She admires Amado's cunning even as she plans to kill him.

Ada reveals the root of Code's obsession is her second ability, an involuntary charm that spares only blood relations and Ōtsutsuki. That is why Boro spared her, why Bug is drawn to her, and why she now eyes the nearly converted Kawaki, whose feelings might be genuine. Boruto, sharpened by his Kāma, beats Kawaki and even cleaves his forehead protector. Ada and Code raise a toast to their alliance, each chasing a separate prize.

Ada explains the limits of her all-seeing Senrigan and confirms that only Amado can disable Code's power restraints, needing an iris scan and a passphrase she cannot supply. She discloses that her charming influence cannot touch kin or Ōtsutsuki, which is why Boro kept her intact and why she takes an interest in Kawaki. During the spar, Boruto defeats Kawaki, who reflexively tries to absorb a Lightning Release: Thunderclap Arrow kunai despite no longer carrying a Kāma, and Boruto slices through his forehead protector. Code and Ada seal a pact of cooperation toward their goals.

Although it carries the same title as the arc's 69th chapter, the episode does not adapt that chapter's material. When Ada switches on her Senrigan, her eyes are drawn with pink glittered shadow, a detail dropped by the time of the later episode Presence.
