Key Events

Back at the Five Kage Summit, Sasuke shatters the pillars and brings the ceiling down, then shields himself and Karin with his Susanoo, keeping her alive only to lead him to Danzō. Gaara guards his siblings and Darui, the Fourth Raikage punches free of the debris, and Suigetsu and Jūgo endure, the latter clawing back from death with his Cellular Regeneration Absorption. Karin steers Sasuke to the conference room, where he clashes with Mifune while Danzō, Fū, and Torune flee.

The Fifth Mizukage drives Sasuke and his Susanoo out with her Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique and reveals she carries two kekkei genkai, Lava Release and Boil Release. Conjuring corrosive acid through her Boil Release: Skilled Mist Technique, she eats away the chakra around his Susanoo and moves to finish him, but White Zetsu's Spore Technique restrains her. Zetsu siphons chakra from the Mizukage, the Third Tsuchikage, Chōjūrō, and Akatsuchi and channels it to Sasuke. When Sasuke charges into the room, the Tsuchikage's Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique seemingly reduces him to particles, and the old man turns his threat on Karin as the Raikage berates him for the stolen kill. At that instant Tobi warps in cradling the unconscious Sasuke, names himself Madara Uchiha, and offers to explain his Eye of the Moon Plan.
