Summary

Isshiki holds Koji down with the pillars he shrank earlier, weighing his choice to fight despite the gulf in their strength and offering to carry his last words to Amado. Koji slips away by climbing inside a summoned toad and reverse summoning it, and Isshiki portals off to find Kawaki. In Konoha, Boruto argues to join the fight, noting he and the others once beat Momoshiki together and that Naruto and Sasuke already lost to a weaker Isshiki, but Naruto refuses, fearing Boruto's Kāma could seize him again. Sai arrives with Sumire as the evacuation of civilians begins. Certain Isshiki's Byakugan will quickly spot Kawaki, Sai leads them to an old Root facility built by Danzō to be invisible to the Byakugan, a safeguard against a Hyūga uprising.

Key Events

Shikamaru, Kakashi, and Tsunade organize the shinobi, though Shikamaru admits he has no plan this time, while Chōji, Tenten, Kiba, and Rock Lee rally the ranks and Konohamaru visits Mugino's grave. Sasuke tells Boruto that he and Naruto are ready to die for the village and asks where the boy stands. Ino signals Isshiki's arrival. Unable to locate Kawaki, Isshiki considers killing people to draw the information out and effortlessly cuts down Konohamaru, Chōji, Tenten, Kiba, and Rock Lee. Mitsuki helps the still-recovering Sarada evacuate, and Naruto rescues Konohamaru from a strike.

Once Ino confirms the evacuation is nearly complete, Naruto enters Six Paths Sage Mode and engages Isshiki, with Sasuke switching in via Amenotejikara and asking Naruto to cover him with thrown weapons. Isshiki shrinks every weapon, but when Sasuke hurls his sword and it cannot be shrunk, it transforms back into Boruto with his Kāma active. Recalling Sasuke's vow to cut him down if Momoshiki took over, Boruto opens a rift and drags himself and Isshiki out of Konoha into another dimension. Sasuke follows the chakra trail with Naruto in tow, and Boruto tells them they can now fight without endangering the village as the three ready themselves.
