Boruto episode 220 weighs the danger sleeping inside Boruto's Kāma as the Five Kage plan their next move, Amado offers Naruto a risky drug to slow his son's Ōtsutsuki transformation, and a father chooses to hope.
Late one night, a distracted Boruto dwells on how Momoshiki had commandeered his body after Isshiki fell. Over a Five Kage video call, Shikamaru reports that ruined Space-Time Gates, believed to open into Kara's dimension, have been found in several spots. Naruto frets that they can no longer probe that dimension for Kara's Ten-Tails, yet judges it no immediate danger since the enemy lacks a sacrifice to raise a God Tree. Turning to Code, the leaders agree hunting him down comes first, though several Kage bristle that so much of their intelligence traces back to Amado, whom Naruto admits he does not fully trust but leans on for his help against Isshiki.
Pressed on what he would do should Boruto's Kāma make the boy a threat, Naruto hears Gaara warn that, with Kurama gone, he may lack the power to stop another Ōtsutsuki and might have to act early. At home, Himawari mourns that Kawaki can no longer wear the prosthetic, and Sumire brings him to Amado to have his own arm rebuilt while he cautions everyone to stay wary of the scientist. Learning from Katasuke that Boruto's Kāma is advancing faster, Naruto insists on breaking the news himself, and after he and Sasuke talk over the danger, Sasuke reveals his vow to cut Boruto down if it comes to that. Naruto tells his son the hard truth and comforts him until the exhausted boy finally sleeps.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Amado then offers Naruto a drug he built to dull the Byakugan, which may stall the Ōtsutsuki progression the way years of secret microdoses slowed Kawaki's, though Boruto's Byakugan potential could bring side effects Kawaki never faced. Admitting he understands the fear of losing a child, having buried his own daughter twelve years earlier, he wins Naruto over, and the medication begins to lift Boruto's spirits. Amado is welcomed onto the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team, Kawaki hands back the prosthetic and mulls becoming a genin, and Naruto resolves to stage another Chūnin Exam. In a lighter beat, Boruto's video game plays as an obvious nod to Super Mario Bros.
In "Remaining Time," Naruto learns that Boruto's Kama is progressing faster than expected. After a Five Kage call about Kara's ruined Space-Time Gates and the fugitive Code, Amado offers Naruto a drug meant to slow his son's Otsutsuki transformation.
Sasuke reveals to Naruto that he has resolved to cut down Boruto himself if the boy's Kama ever turns him into an uncontrollable Otsutsuki threat, a hard promise he makes despite his friendship with Naruto.
Amado offers a drug he engineered to dull the Byakugan because it might stall the Otsutsuki progression in Boruto's Kama the way years of secret microdosing slowed Kawaki's transformation, though Boruto's own Byakugan potential could bring side effects Kawaki never faced.
Gaara warns Naruto that, with Kurama gone, he may lack the power to stop another Otsutsuki and might have to act early if Boruto's Kama ever turns him into a threat.
Amado wins Naruto's trust by admitting he understands the fear of losing a child, having buried his own daughter twelve years earlier, and the medication he provides ultimately lifts Boruto's spirits.
