Chasing leads on the Hashirama Cell, Konohamaru's squad enters the lawless Land of Silence and works its black market for information. Boruto's stunts and a rogue Kirigakure medic named Kirisaki point them toward a buyer they must now impersonate.
The team reaches the Land of Silence and barely dodges a thieves' trap on arrival. Because so many of its outlaws despise the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Konohamaru has everyone strip off their forehead protectors. He and Mugino brief Boruto and Sarada on the region's past, and Mugino repeats his misgivings about dragging genin into so risky a job, but Boruto refuses to let anyone else be hurt the way Mitsuki was. Passing ruined gates, the jonin explain that with no village to defend, the local shinobi answer only to money and power. In the black market they spot faces from the Bingo Book and gauge how widely the Hashirama Cell rumors have spread. A shopkeeper brushes them off until Boruto slips away, thrashes the man's underlings, and strong-arms him into talking; he produces an ID from Victor's company and claims a man in a white coat sold him the cell, then points them to a bar called The Ladies. There Mugino recognizes Kirisaki, a former Kirigakure medic, and Boruto uses his Sexy Technique to peel the women away from him, drawing dry remarks from Sarada and Mugino.
Before Boruto can isolate Kirisaki, a thief snatches the medic's briefcase; Boruto stops Kirisaki from thrashing the culprit and beats him down himself, and the scuffle draws enough eyes that the group whisks him off. Threatened with being turned over to Kirigakure, Kirisaki admits he came only because he holds intelligence on the Hashirama Cell and is due to meet a buyer the following day. The squad plans around that meeting, with Konohamaru transforming into Kirisaki to attend. They are met by a butler representing the interested party, who wants proof that the medic is genuine: the butler carries the cell's infection, and a real Kirisaki should be able to cure it.
