A Shinobi's Dream…!!

Reenergized and topped up with chakra from the Yin half of Kurama, Naruto rejoins the fight. Unwilling to fall behind, Sasuke has Jūgo apply the Sage Transformation to his Susanoo, flooding the construct with natural energy so that the Cursed Seal of Heaven patterns spread across it. The pair throw themselves once more at Obito, who has taken note of how repeatedly Naruto claws his way out of despair.

Watching from afar, Orochimaru muses that Sasuke may hold the potential to eclipse even Madara Uchiha, while Tobirama observes that Naruto mirrors his own brother Hashirama, flaws included. With many of the allied troops still uncertain and waiting on word from their sitting Kage, Hashirama opens his memories to the whole army and lets them witness the very first gathering of the five village leaders.

The recollection lays bare how that summit played out, and what resonates most is Hashirama's longing for every shinobi to stand as one. He urges the soldiers to gather their fears, their grief, and their resolve for the battle ahead, and his wish is answered as the five present-day Kage appear together on the field.
