Chapter 664 threads several fronts of the war together as an unreadable figure closes on Sasuke and Minato prepares to entrust his tailed beast to his son. Black Zetsu's interference, and Madara's sudden arrival, turn the moment against them.
An unidentified figure draws steadily nearer to Sasuke, and neither Tobirama nor Karin can place them or read their chakra. Fearing the stranger means Sasuke harm, Karin rushes forward. Elsewhere Guy, though clearly spent, insists on staying in the fight, and when Gaara and Sakura streak by overhead he reasons they are bound for Kakashi and grows only more eager to follow, much to Tenten's dismay.
As Madara flies onward he casts aside both the Kohaku no Jōhei and the Benihisago, deciding the treasured tools were only slowing him down, and they drop onto Guy and Lee where Tenten recognizes them. On another part of the field, Kakashi and Minato keep battling Black Zetsu until Minato's Yin half of Kurama urges him to sense his surroundings. With the Kazekage's group arriving, Minato asks Kakashi to face Obito alongside Gaara while he begins passing his tailed beast to Naruto, recalling a promise he once made to Kushina about shielding their unborn child. Before the transfer finishes, Black Zetsu stretches out and seizes Kurama's power for itself, cackling over claiming Yin-Kurama, just as Madara descends and announces he came in person because Black Zetsu was taking too long.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
The chapter is numbered 664 and collected in volume 69, set during the Birth of the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki arc. Viz Media released it in English as I'm His Father. In one panel Tobirama is drawn without the black receivers on his back and head, an error that was never fixed for the tankōbon edition. It first appeared in Japan in issue 12 of 2014.
