Wrapped in an initial cloak of chakra, Killer B presses his assault on Taka. The team manages to slip past each strike, yet Sasuke recognises that dodging forever is not an option. He turns to his Mangekyō Sharingan and snares B inside a genjutsu, then relaxes, certain the fight is finished.

The Eight-Tails itself breaks its host free of the trance. Freed and furious, B lands a blow that leaves Sasuke gravely wounded. While Jūgo works to keep him alive, B abandons the partial shroud and completes a full transformation into the Eight-Tails.
