Summary

Choji unfurls a set of butterfly wings as he and his teammates commit to one last strike against their late mentor. Ino seizes control of two White Zetsu with her mind-switching jutsu and hurls them at Asuma, Shikamaru's shadow threads jerk the man off his feet, and Choji drives a punch that slams him into a wall. Shikamaru then flings one of Asuma's own chakra blades to Choji, who bats it hard toward their teacher; it drops onto Asuma's shadow and locks him in place. Praising the flawless teamwork of their old formation, Asuma thanks the three as a pair of Sand ninja seal his revived body away.

Somewhere quieter, Naruto and Killer B pause their training, and Naruto realises he is no longer the sole bearer of the Nine-Tailed Fox's strength. Growing wary, he bolts from the spot only to run straight into a line of Konoha ninja blocking his path.
