With Konoha still branding him an enemy, Boruto joins a covert operation to stop the copy-spawning Mamushi, leaning on Inojin's new sensory jutsu, a reforged blade, and Koji's fragile glimpses of a future where those he protects die.
Koji and Boruto watch Inojin finish developing a fresh technique in the span of a single day. Inojin makes clear he fights only for Himawari and the village and will not treat Boruto as an ally, and Boruto returns the sentiment, warning that he will shear off Inojin's ridiculous hair if the boy ever makes Himawari cry before teleporting away. In the village, Mitsuki is pulled in for questioning by Kobu, who dismisses Konohamaru. Catching Konohamaru's sudden change of expression, Sai quietly asks the Sensory Unit for any recent outside contact, but the unit reports nothing beyond a routine overnight check-in. Sumire, meanwhile, hands back Boruto's reworked sword, its blade rebuilt to sustain his Uchiha-Style Blade Jutsu on its own and rigged to drain the chakra of any unregistered hand that grips it.
Inside the Hokage Mansion, Shikamaru defends his decision to work with Boruto to a doubtful Shikadai, insisting he leads by his own convictions the way Naruto once did and that Boruto is essential against the Human God Trees. Shikadai swallows his resentment and agrees to follow orders. Koji warns Inojin that foreknowledge itself reshapes fate, and that too many people acting on glimpses of what is to come scatter the future into unpredictable branches; he then shares a grim vision of Ada consumed into a tree and Himawari dead in Inojin's arms, a fate they resolve to avert. Shikamaru opens a secret channel to the entire operation team, carried by Inojin's Mind Transmission Formation, which lets every member feel the vibrations of nearby objects and so track Mamushi's copies despite his erased chakra.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
When Mamushi surfaces ahead of schedule, roaming the streets and pressing civilians for Ada's whereabouts, Shikamaru relays his position while Koji guides Boruto's jumps. Boruto cuts down one copy by striking its eyes as instructed, then finds himself swarmed as Mamushi spawns more. A Fire Release attack seems to consume him, yet he has drawn the flames in through his activated Kāma, grumbling about the rough feeling absorption leaves behind. The chapter belongs to the Mamushi Arc of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
