Summary

Confronted with the raw might of the Eight-Tails, Taka breaks and runs. Suigetsu throws his own body into the path of the beast's Tailed Beast Ball, absorbing the blast so that his teammates come through unscathed even as the landscape around them is leveled. The impact leaves him unconscious, and Sasuke, refusing to let his comrades be taken from him, unleashes the black flames of Amaterasu.

Far from that battlefield, Naruto crosses an important threshold of his own, finally able to draw on senjutsu without assistance.
