Sasuke's Rinnegan…!!

Refusing to be shown up, Madara retaliates with a lightning barrage that Naruto turns aside using a Truth-Seeking Ball while Sasuke sidesteps it completely through Amenotejikara. Sensing that the pair have cracked the secret of his Limbo: Border Jail, Madara scrambles to rework his approach. Sasuke takes charge and tells Naruto to channel Hagoromo's power into his next strike so they can pin their opponent, and though it grates on Naruto to follow his rival's lead, he braces for another attack. Privately, Madara muses on how alike he and Sasuke seem, questioning whether something deeper than kinship links them and regretting that the youth had not been born in time to serve his ends before Obito.

Naruto shapes a Magnet Release Rasengan fed by Shukaku's chakra and laced with a cursed seal, while Sasuke charges a Chidori steeped in Six Paths power, and the two land together on Madara only to discover they struck a Limbo phantom. Naruto shouts for Sasuke to keep Madara from his goal, but the warning comes an instant too late: Madara tears Kakashi's Sharingan from its socket and plants it in his own eye. In the separate dimension, Obito begs Sakura to shatter the Rinnegan since he can no longer hold Black Zetsu at bay. Just as she prepares to act, Madara warps across with Kamui, Sasuke slices him apart back in the real world with a Chidori Sharp Spear, and Madara hurls a staff at Sakura, vowing that no one will destroy his eye.

Several drawing slips appear in the chapter. As Naruto swings the staff, the markings on the Flying Thunder God kunai vanish, an error later fixed for the collected edition. Two panels omit the tomoe from Sasuke's Rinnegan, which the tankōbon left uncorrected, and another frame mistakenly gives Naruto eleven Truth-Seeking Balls, also carried over unchanged.
