A grim chapter in which Naruto's four-tailed rampage turns him against Sakura, while a spent Orochimaru is quietly approached by Danzō's envoy.
Kabuto, Sakura, and Yamato retreat from a thrashing Naruto, whose four-tailed transformation leads Kabuto to observe that he has willingly become a monster in his search for Sasuke. Shaken by the punishment Naruto is inflicting on himself, Sakura moves toward him hoping to bring him back to his senses.
Unable any longer to tell friend from enemy, Naruto strikes at Sakura. Yamato clamps down on the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's hold over him, while Kabuto sees to Sakura's wounds and thanks her for having taken down Sasori.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Elsewhere, Orochimaru buckles from the strain his clash with Naruto placed on his body. Sai steps up to him and asks for a moment to speak on Danzō's behalf. This is chapter 296, collected in volume 33 within the Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance Mission, first released in March 2006.
