Summary

The spirit of Hagoromo recounts to the assembled Hokage what unfolded once the Infinite Tsukuyomi took hold. He explains that Madara's severed lower half still held Yang-Kurama's chakra along with the energies of Indra and Asura, and that their full merging is what allowed his spirit to surface at last. Minato brings up a technique Hagoromo had mentioned before, but the sage notes it demands an enormous reserve of chakra he no longer possesses, having already passed his own on to Naruto and Sasuke. He rushes toward the Hokage and urges them to hear him out.

Elsewhere, Kaguya tears through Naruto's shadow clones trying to reach the genuine one. She launches a pair of bones his way, only for two clones to shield the true body before they scatter and regroup into a wall, confirming Black Zetsu's guess that the one holding Truth-Seeking Balls is the real Naruto. Watching the fight, Kakashi sinks into doubt until Naruto's words pull him back. Obito, Sakura, and Sasuke emerge from the desert dimension, and just as Naruto moves toward Sasuke, Kaguya snares him with her hair and drives it through him, only for the withering body to vanish in smoke as another decoy.

Frustrated, Kaguya accepts the gravity of her situation and once again relocates everyone, this time to a world of crushing gravity where the clones drop from the air and dissolve while the rest are pinned down, herself included. She sprouts fresh bones aimed at both Naruto and Sasuke, who slip clear thanks to the heavy pull. As she readies another volley, Kakashi and Obito charge in prepared to die, glimpsing a memory of Rin and their younger selves. At the final instant Obito uses Kamui to divert the bone meant for Kakashi, giving his own life in the exchange.
