Time Limit…!!

Isshiki shrinks the last of the pillars around him, and when Koji answers with a stream of fire, Isshiki simply reduces the flames to nothing as he closes in. Koji ensnares him with his hair and slams him down, but Isshiki shrinks away, and a follow-up stab with the hair misses as well. Isshiki reflects that his borrowed body leaves him only two or three days of life and praises Amado's scheme, taunting Koji that Amado is counting on Naruto and Sasuke to finish him. In his view Koji's usefulness ended the moment he forced Isshiki to revive inside Jigen's body without the power to actually kill him, making him a sacrificial pawn rather than a heroic tool. Koji shifts into Sage Mode in reply.

Amado, meanwhile, reviews the terms of his asylum, the restrictions and duties it places on him. When Shikamaru demands he defuse the device on Shikadai's neck, Amado admits it was only a bluff. He turns to Naruto and warns that the worst is still ahead, cautioning against taking the fight to Isshiki, whose limited time means his top goal is stamping a second Kāma onto Kawaki, so he might even ignore Naruto and Sasuke. Amado recommends evacuating Konoha's civilians and hiding Kawaki somewhere nearby where the two can guard him, stressing that Isshiki has to fall before he can mark Kawaki again.

Koji keeps hurling Fire Release to blind Isshiki's dōjutsu and manages to trap him between his flames and an Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan. Isshiki counters by conjuring the pillars he had shrunk earlier, pinning Koji, and explains the workings of his jutsu as he does. Curious why Koji fought on, he offers to carry his final words to Amado as a courtesy to a onetime ally, but when he leans in Koji summons a toad and escapes by reverse summoning instead. Isshiki portals off in search of Kawaki. Boruto wants to stand with his father against Isshiki, pointing out that both Naruto and Sasuke fell to him at full strength, and Sasuke asks whether Boruto is as willing to die for Konoha as they have always been. Just then Naruto learns Isshiki has reached the village.

Isshiki reveals his stolen body gives him only two or three days to live. Amado admits the bomb on Shikadai was a bluff and warns that Isshiki's priority is placing a second Kāma on Kawaki. He advises evacuating civilians and hiding Kawaki, insisting Isshiki must be beaten first. Koji escapes Isshiki by reverse summoning a toad, and Isshiki teleports to Konoha to seek Kawaki.
