Appearing first in the 2012 One Piece Premier Show, this Paramecia power exists outside the canon and grants its bearer the means to duplicate both the look and the abilities of others. Its title adopts the Japanese pronunciation of the English word copy. Chameleone turns it to seizing the powers of whomever he meets and using them as his own.
Mechanics
Copying another's power seemingly requires nothing more than one look at that person, which renders drawing near or fighting him a hazardous risk. Sustaining a borrowed ability calls for intense concentration, though: the moment Chameleone sneezes, his grip on a copied power slips. Aside from that oddity, the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses remain. The power echoes the Mane Mane no Mi, except that fruit mimics appearance only while this one also duplicates abilities.
