Overview

This Mythical Zoan lets its user become a qilin, the chimeric East Asian beast, in either a full or half-qilin shape, and earns them the title of Dream-Manifesting Human. The fruit pairs two haunting gifts: it can send people into slumber and then give solid form to whatever they dream. Rimoshifu Killingham, a Knight of God, holds this power and tends to linger in his qilin shape even when idle. His beast form sports a long neck, a draconic-giraffine head, jet-black skin, flaming golden hair, a single pale horn, and pink dragon whiskers, while his hybrid takes a centaur-like build with an ungulate lower body.

Mechanics

In hybrid form the user flies by treading on flaming clouds beneath their hooves and gains a physical power boost. The sleep effect comes from ringed energy beams that drop anyone they touch, even at long range, and victims prove very hard for others to rouse, though Killingham can wake them himself. He can also dial the depth, inducing a paralysis-like state where the mind stays awake but the body locks up, a technique he calls Min'ei-ka. Once a target sleeps, he pulls dreamed objects or beings from a thought-cloud above their head, sustaining many manifestations at once. Conjured creations keep whatever properties the dreamer imagines, from harmless furniture and tasty but nutrition-free food to monstrous incarnated fears dubbed MMA. These nightmare beasts act semi-independently, can be revived after defeat since they lack a concept of death, and pour endlessly from portals called Nightmare Holes. This Zoan can also be awakened, marking the user with a white smoke ribbon at the shoulders.

Notable Users

Killingham is the fruit's sole owner, and he awakened it without losing his personality. His qilin strength is enough to suplex a grown giant warrior, but he prefers neutralizing enemies through sleep or manifested chaos. He synergizes tightly with his fellow Knights of God: during Shamrock's hostage game on Elbaph, he put Walrus School children to sleep while Gunko's vector arrows marched them along and Sommers' invisible thorns made them untouchable. The MMA carry real weaknesses, however, since their strength scales to the dreamer's imagination, they can flee in terror from a foe like a fully transformed Loki, the sleep itself has a time limit, and the user risks summoning their own uncontrollable fears.
