Uma Uma no Mi, Model: Pegasus

Belonging to the uncommon Mythical Zoan class, this fruit permits a change into a winged Pegasus, whether as a full beast or a hybrid, and flight comes with either shape. Its title takes uma, the Japanese word for horse, and English releases call it the Horse-Horse Fruit, Model Pegasus. It made its first appearance in Chapter 1063, already in Stronger's possession.

Flight is the standout perk, arriving through the transformation into Pegasus form. Because Stronger was a horse before ever eating it, little visibly changes apart from a set of wings sprouting, and it stays uncertain whether the state on display is his hybrid or his complete beast form. No distinctive drawback has surfaced, leaving him saddled with nothing more than the usual Devil Fruit vulnerabilities.

Stronger holds the fruit and puts its wings to work carrying Doc Q and fellow Blackbeard Pirates aloft. He probably picked up the ability during the crew's Devil Fruit hunting, at some point ahead of the crew's Winner Island strike against the Heart Pirates. This stands as the first canon Mythical Zoan drawn purely from Western mythology, and among animals Stronger is uniquely the sole one recorded to eat a Zoan matching its own species. Earlier, the bird Pierre achieved a comparable winged look by way of the plain Uma Uma no Mi.
