Bonney's Lamentation! Darkness Lurking on the Future Island

In the New World, CP0 agents marvel at how Vegapunk divided himself into six satellite bodies. Their orders are twofold: deliver a Seraphim modeled on Bartholomew Kuma back to Egghead, and wipe out the scientist along with his satellites. Lucci wonders aloud whether the assignment ties into the destruction of Lulusia, but Kaku and Stussy steer clear of the topic, wary of meeting the same fate.

On Egghead, Luffy's party leaves Atlas behind and uses a machine to swap into local outfits. As Bonney prepares to hunt down Vegapunk alone, Luffy senses what he believes is Kuma close by. A police-uniformed Kuma begins scanning for intruders, and Luffy orders everyone to flee, baffling Bonney. The figure fires a laser the group barely dodges. Bonney freezes, then snaps awake, races over, and kicks Luffy in the head, demanding he stop and confessing through tears that Kuma is her father. The Pacifista keeps firing, aiming a beam at the motionless Bonney; Luffy rushes in shouting that it is only a Pacifista, and a huge blast erupts. Far away, the Blackbeard Pirates fall upon the peacefully sailing Heart Pirates.

The anime adds Luffy tossing trash to the Recycle-Wan, which Atlas notes despises littering, prompting it to chase and bite him, Bonney, and Chopper, plus a fuller look at the Blackbeard ambush. The outfit-changing scene is extended. Instead of the usual King of the Pirates line, Bepo closes the episode by declaring that his captain is the King of the Pirates. S-Bear and Recycle-Wan debut, along with the Uma Uma no Mi, Model: Pegasus.
