Personality

Following the lead of his superior Smash, Bildy subscribes to absolute justice and felt no guilt whatsoever about taking Madatascar Island and forcing its residents under his command. He is clever besides, devising a scheme to make the Straw Hat Pirates think Kid had persuaded Law to turn traitor.

History

Bildy serves the DX Marines in the role of Chief of Staff and is related to Smash as his nephew. He wields the Kone Kone no Mi, whose Paramecia power converts a person into a wholly different individual, with each altered target taking on the abilities of whoever they become. He and Smash made their way to Madatascar Island, a spot renowned for fireworks shows, claimed it, and commanded its people to cease every firework celebration.

Once the Straw Hat Pirates reached the island during the 2014 show, Bildy carried out Smash's orders and reshaped subordinates into seven formidable rivals for the crew, namely Buggy, Crocodile, Rob Lucci, Boa Hancock, Galdino, Hody Jones, and Kid. He went on to fashion a counterfeit Hancock to petrify Sanji and a counterfeit Law to push the betrayal trick, only for the deception to fall apart once the crew encountered the real Law and struck back. Amid the fighting Bildy grabbed Flora's father, Volg, and built an Oars out of another underling, freeing Volg only after Luffy beat Smash. His fate following Smash's capture and transfer to Impel Down is never made clear.
