Personality

Bonney comes across as quick-tempered and boisterous aboard ship. Terror of the Bayan Pirates gripped her, yet she put her life on the line beside Maccus to rescue Amanda. In the end she showed real warmth, willingly turning the treasure over to Amanda and her siblings out of sympathy for their plight.

History

As a capable thief and pirate, Bonney habitually steals from others for her own gain. She belonged to the crew when the Bayan Pirates abducted Amanda and her siblings, then slipped away from the ship to search for the treasure left by Amanda's father. Stranded on an island with the children and Maccus, she was rescued by the Straw Hats. When she and Maccus tried to storm the enemy ship to free Amanda, Zap blocked them, knocked Bonney down, and beat the pair until the Straw Hats stepped in to save them.
