Buffalo works as a combatant and assassin within the Donquixote Pirates while also holding an officer's rank in Pica's army. A towering man whose Guru Guru no Mi spins his limbs like propeller blades, he ran Doflamingo's errands alongside Baby 5 until Kyros brought him down on Dressrosa.
Buffalo is an enormously large man whose limbs look thin and out of proportion to his frame. His dark hair fans out in a propeller-like arrangement, standing straight up on top with sideburns reaching to either side and a long goatee below; though it appears deliberately styled, the protruding strands are in fact cowlicks. His jutting teeth display the crew's Jolly Roger, and he dresses in a yellow fur coat with heavy chains wound about his body and oddly shaped boots. As a boy he was already big for his age, with slight buckteeth, antenna-like hair, and a beanie.
Devotion to his Donquixote "family" runs absolute in Buffalo, who saw no fault in Doflamingo razing eight cities and their inhabitants merely to keep Baby 5 from her suitors. He takes the crew's blood law gravely, resolving at once to report Law's stabbing of Corazon. A compulsive gambler, he once wheedled a 2,000,000 loan out of Baby 5 to bring to the casino, and he holds cheaters in contempt. Behind his greed sits a cheerful streak, since he is rarely seen without a smile, and he peppers his speech with a propeller-imitating "nnnniin."
As an officer he commanded the crew's lesser members along with 2,000 soldiers, and Doflamingo trusted him enough to dispatch him to Punk Hazard with Baby 5, the two combining their powers into potent attacks. His endurance is considerable, weathering Franky's General Cannon as well as Nami's lightning before Usopp's Totsugeki Ryuseigun finally knocked him out. The Guru Guru no Mi he ate, a fruit of the Paramecia class, lets him rotate any part of his body like a propeller, granting flight across vast stretches of sea and sky, a means of carrying passengers on his back, gusting winds, and centripetal force that amplifies his strikes, including spinning cuts made by swinging Baby 5 in her blade form. Despite all this, Kyros bested him with ease while down to a single leg, and after the Donquixote Pirates fell, the Marines arrested him.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Buffalo ate the Guru Guru no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that lets him rotate any part of his body like a propeller. This grants him flight across land and sea, the ability to carry passengers, gusting winds, and centripetal force that strengthens his attacks.
