Chappe, nicknamed Rope-Tugging, is a former Punk Hazard prisoner turned member of Brownbeard's Centaur Patrol Unit and one of Caesar Clown's henchmen. A whip-wielding bull centaur, he fought the G-5 Marines before his master's treachery sent him fleeing.
Chappe's head is largely bald save for a small ponytail trailing from the back. A crooked nose and a double chin mark his face, and he dresses in a frilled coat over a striped shirt fastened to the top button. From the waist down he takes the shape of a bull centaur.
Chappe gave Caesar Clown unflinching devotion, addressing him as his master. During the Punk Hazard events he battled the G-5 Marines, recoiled as Smiley's slime fell near him, survived Caesar's defeat, and ultimately fled the laboratory with the Straw Hats and Marines.
