Compote is a hefty, broad-bodied woman who bears a clear likeness to her mother. A large nose, full lips, and a thick tangle of teal hair give her a striking profile. She dresses in a frilly light purple gown and balances a heaping bowl of fruit parfait atop her head like a hat.

Where many of her relatives flew into a panic, Compote kept her cool, staying impassive even as Jinbe defied Big Mom and holding her composure through her mother's cake-driven meltdown. Her willingness to back the Vinsmoke assassination plot marks her loyalty to family and crew, though she was quietly displeased by Jinbe's betrayal.

Born forty-nine years before the present as Big Mom's second child, Compote rose to become the Minister of Fruits and a crew officer. She attended the tea party and the wedding ceremony arranged for Pudding and Sanji, and watched Jinbe formally quit the Big Mom Pirates after Luffy threw the venue into disorder.

When Big Mom laid siege to the fortress sheltering the Straw Hats, Fire Tank Pirates, and Vinsmokes, Compote stood ready with the crew to gun down anyone who emerged, though Ichiji and Niji deflected the volley. The Tamatebako then exploded and brought the chateau down, and the crew survived only because Streusen turned the toppling castle into cake. She soon joined the fleet assembled to hunt the escaping enemies. Later, during the assault on Wano, she rode with her mother up the waterfall until King attacked and sent the ship tumbling back into the sea, and a second attempt was foiled by Marco. Vito once ranked her among the crew's 'monsters,' likening her to Sweet Commanders Katakuri and Smoothie, and she could endure Big Mom's Supreme King Haki without faltering.
