Charlotte Daifuku

Daifuku is enormously tall and broad, topped by a disproportionately small shaved head bearing short blonde hair, a slight mustache, and a few facial wrinkles. His yellow eyes usually sit beneath a stern, hard-set expression. He drapes himself in a dark blue coat with huge blue-and-white striped shoulder pads lined in fur, a yellow cape hanging behind, orange gloves and boots, hooped earrings, and a thick belt marked with the image of a genie's lamp. As a boy he kept the same shaved head over short gray hair, wearing a tank top and navy pants.

Harsh and quick to violence, Daifuku fixates on cutting down enemies fast and flies into a rage when they slip away. While locked onto a target he shows almost no concern for his own people, even letting his genie wreck his fleet's ships in his reckless chase after Carrot. He thinks nothing of striking or berating anyone he deems a failure, family included, as when he slapped Pudding aside and called her useless for not killing Sanji. He measures worth by strength too, insisting Katakuri should lead the crew if anything ever happened to their mother.

For all his cruelty, he genuinely cares about his family and Totto Land, growing alarmed when Big Mom's craving sickness struck and worrying over how to stop her rampage after Streusen was hurt. He got on well with his triplet brothers, sharing donuts with them as children and never mocking Katakuri for his unusual mouth. His confidence in his Devil Fruit, however, leaves him prone to underestimating opponents, a flaw Carrot's Sulong form exposed.

As Minister of Beans and a crew officer, Daifuku rules Poripori Island and commands lower-ranking pirates, even leading entire fleets into battle. Vito counted him among the crew's 'monsters,' likening him to the Sweet Commanders Katakuri and Smoothie, and the powerful Jinbe regarded him as a formidable opponent. His will is strong enough to endure Big Mom's Supreme King Haki, and his sheer size lends him tremendous strength, enough to send Pudding flying with a single slap. He is also a gifted orator who can whip his crew into a frenzy with rousing speeches, and he wields both Armament and Observation Haki.

His Devil Fruit, the Hoya Hoya no Mi, lets him conjure a halberd-bearing genie by rubbing his belly. The genie overpowers even seasoned fighters with raw force, projects its slashes to cleave clean cuts through multiple Tarte ships at once, and can swell to a size rivaling the Thousand Sunny. In the anime it appears made of smoke, able to dissolve and reform to evade attacks.

Across the arc, Daifuku attacked Sanji with the genie and pinned him during the wedding ambush, then organized the pursuit squads with Katakuri after the alliance escaped. At sea his hunt for the Straw Hats fell apart when Carrot's Sulong form tore through his fleet and his own genie smashed his ships. He later joined his mother's assault on Wano, deflecting Kaidou's cannonfire with the genie until King knocked their ship off the waterfall.
