Chicory

Tiny like all her kind, Chicory has a pointed nose, a soft fluffy tail, and long, flowing locks in a vivid shade. She dresses in a brightly colored striped dress, a pair of dark high heels, and a big matching hat decorated with a flower at one side. The Digitally Colored Manga has shown her with different palettes across appearances, once with light brown hair and a pink hat, later with yellow hair and a pink-and-purple dress.

Courage defines her, since she was ready to stand against Sugar shoulder to shoulder with her fellow dwarves. She also places enormous value on friendship, fighting the Donquixote Pirates specifically to free the five hundred companions they had locked away.

Being a dwarf grants her speed and strength beyond what an ordinary human can manage, yet that was not enough against Sugar and Trebol together. During Operation SOP she went with Leo and other Tonta Corps members to strike at Sugar in the executive tower. Once Robin drew Trebol off, the dwarves moved to attack, but Sugar's power turned several of them into toys, leaving Chicory and the rest baffled by figures that seemed to pop up from nowhere. Trebol then trapped them all in his slime and set it ablaze, scorching the group in the blast. Even beaten, their faith in Usopp held, and they kept crying his name until he returned to face Trebol and Sugar. He was overpowered and forced to eat the supposedly poisonous grape, only for his agonized reaction to the Tatababasco to knock Sugar out cold, a turn that left Chicory staring in sheer disbelief.
