Personality

Shady and untrustworthy by nature, Dagama will resort to any tactic to win, most of all to benefit his king, Elizabello II. In the colosseum he bribed and conspired with rival fighters only to betray and attack them, and his greed nearly led him to turn on the very people who had saved him until a scolding from his king made him grateful. He later redeemed himself by uniting the colosseum's top fighters and holding back Dellinger so Cavendish, Luffy, and Kyros could slip past Doflamingo's officers. Like several characters he has his own signature laugh, "Gamahahahahah," which echoes his name.

History

A sharp strategist, Dagama traveled to Dressrosa beside Elizabello II in pursuit of the famed Mera Mera no Mi, arriving with detailed knowledge of his gladiator rivals. He brokered pacts with combatants like Tank Lepanto as the B Block free-for-all unfolded, shielding Elizabello so the king could land his devastating punch, then secretly aligned himself with Blue Gilly and turned on his own allies. Blue Gilly then kicked him out of the ring. Thrown into the underground dungeon and later transformed into a toy, Dagama was freed when Sugar lost consciousness and the curse broke. He afterward joined Luffy, Zoro, and Law along with the other colosseum fighters against the Donquixote Pirates, surviving being impaled by Dellinger and later healed by Mansherry. His efforts bought Luffy the time needed to bring down Doflamingo, after which he returned home to Prodence Kingdom. During the Egghead Arc, Elizabello sent him to check on the Lulusia Kingdom after news of its destruction.
