Damask

A gas mask topped by an aviator-style cap conceals most of Damask's face. Above the mask sit narrow eyes with heavy lower lids, and a mop of wild, pale hair crowns his head.

Damask shows an aggressive streak, lunging to strike Hakuba mid-rampage. The label of pyromaniac suggests a genuine compulsion around fire, which would also account for his hunger to claim the Mera Mera no Mi. For all that, he proves to have a code of honor, joining the other gladiators in confronting Doflamingo to win Luffy precious time.

His combat skill is largely unknown, though entering the colosseum implies confidence in his own power. His signature tool is the flamethrower fitted into the mouth of his mask, which spews fierce jets of fire and trails smoke even when idle. In D Block of the battle royale, he readied himself as the melee began, but once Cavendish's alter ego Hakuba surfaced and tore through the survivors, Damask's stream of fire missed and struck Mummy instead before Hakuba cut him down. Later, during the final stage of Doflamingo's Birdcage, he and a crowd of gladiators threw themselves at the wounded Warlord; they were swept aside easily, yet they bought enough time for Luffy to recover and ultimately end the game.
