Gimlet

Gimlet is the infant son of Senor Pink and Russian, whose brief life ended when he fell ill and died as a baby. His death profoundly reshaped his father and is the origin of Senor Pink's habit of dressing in baby clothes.

Gimlet came down with a fever while his father was away and did not recover, dying while still an infant. His death devastated both of his parents and left Russian in a vegetative state.

Senor Pink began wearing his late son Gimlet's baby clothing and pacifier in an effort to coax a smile from Russian after grief left her in a vegetative state. The habit stuck with him for the rest of his life despite the mockery it drew.

Gimlet holds the grim distinction of being the youngest character known to have died in One Piece. He passed away as an infant, years before the Donquixote Pirates seized Dressrosa.

Gimlet was always pictured in a baby bonnet, the same style his father Senor Pink later adopted, with a single small brown curl poking out from beneath the cap. Senor Pink once noted that the boy had inherited his face.
