The Manly Duel! Senor's Elegy of Love!

Luffy keeps urging Bellamy to abandon a battle waged for a man not worth dying for, but Bellamy only answers with more blows. Elsewhere, Leo carries a flirtatious Mansherry away from the palace with Kabu in tow, the dwarf captain oblivious to the princess's feelings for him. At the SMILE Factory, Franky and Senor Pink trade devastating attacks until both topple from sheer exhaustion. Franky vows to take every hit and still win in his own stubborn fashion, and Senor Pink, moved, decides to settle things with one final move.

The recovering Giolla realizes she must warn Doflamingo that Mansherry has been seized, since her power could otherwise rebuild the factory, but she collapses before she can, leaving the enemy's contingency plan dead. Senor Pink hauls Franky up a tower and unleashes Baby Buster, exploiting the cyborg's vulnerable back to slam him into the earth. Franky rises from the rubble anyway, his left eye now more mechanical, and Senor Pink keeps his word by conceding defeat. Franky then pounds him with Franky Iron Boxing.

As the blows land, Senor Pink recalls meeting his wife Russian on a rainy day, lying about being a banker, and raising their son Gimlet. His double life unraveled when Gimlet died of fever during one of his absences, and Russian, learning the truth, fled into a landslide that left her in a vegetative state. Visiting her for a year, he finally coaxed a smile by wearing their son's bonnet, which is why he now dresses the way he does.

Russian and Gimlet make their first appearance, both in flashback. The episode is part of the Dressrosa Arc and carries a rating of 8.4. NyanNyan Suplex: Baby Buster and Franky Iron Boxing both debut here. The anime adds extra scenes, including Bellamy continuing to strike Luffy, Giolla reaching for a Den Den Mushi before passing out, Senor Pink presenting Russian a ring on a grassy hillside, and the moment Gimlet fell ill while Senor Pink was away.
