Girarin

Girarin is a purple fish-man crowned by a head fin and yellow-green hair. He goes about in an open red shirt dotted with yellow ovals, a teal cloth sash, white shorts, purple leggings, and the standard Foxy Pirates mask. Expandable blade-like fittings ride on his arms, sharp in look but blunt in truth. For the Run Roller Around race he swapped to the Foxy Devils uniform, a purple and black jersey marked with a blue letter f, red-and-white pants, and roller skates. Exactly what species of fish-man he is remains unknown.

Sharing the swagger common to the Foxy Pirates, Girarin is cocky and smug, taking special pride in his fake blades. That bravado collapses around Luffy and the Straw Hats, who leave him weak-kneed and easily cowed.

As a fish-man, Girarin carries roughly ten times a human's strength, and although his twin blades hold no edge, he can still swing them as clubs or use them to bat away Foxy's Noro Noro Beam. His signature move, Girasword Matsuri, has him slashing at a foe without ever cutting them. He surfaced during the Davy Back Fight, competing in both the Run Roller Around race and the Hit and Dead Ball match. In the race he deflected Foxy's barrage of beams and tried to overtake Luffy, but Nico Robin stopped Foxy from firing further, and Girarin was lapped, handing the Straw Hats the win. Paired with Jube in the ball game against Zoro and Chopper, he lunged and missed, and his eventual elimination went unshown.
