Jube

Black hair rising into a sharp upswept ponytail gives Jube a silhouette close to Ryuma's. Against light pink skin he sports a pale blue coat lined with white, the crew's usual Foxy Pirates mask, and a vest of light brown. A sash in green sits at his waist, and fur trims his dark purple shorts. Each of his arms carries a wrist-band.

Brash to the point of arrogance, Jube trumpets his ability to neutralize Nico Robin's powers, but there is nothing behind the boast. He is frail and craven, recoiling from formidable foes like Luffy and Zoro and putting up no fight worth the name.

As a fish-man, Jube wields ten times the muscle of an average human, and his chosen tactic is to wrap up opponents with his limbs. A mollusk's body works in his favor against Robin: with no ordinary skeleton to crush, he shrugs off her Clutch attacks. His named technique, Mucha Karamete, pins a foe in place by tangling them in his eight arms.

Jube surfaced during the Davy Back Fight's race events, the Hit and Dead Ball round and the Run Roller Around stretch among them. He lunged at Nico Robin again and again on account of her Devil Fruit, but Luffy floored him the first time and Zoro scared him off the second, opening the door for the Straw Hats to win. Later, partnered with Girarin against Zoro and Chopper in Hit and Dead Ball, the two fish-men sprang at their targets and whiffed; Jube was knocked out of the game at some unseen point.
