Gorobe suffered serious injuries when Shutenmaru's gang raided the townsfolk for food, and afterward Tsuru looked after him. As she treated his wounds, his thoughts turned to remorse over the meal Luffy-tarou had provided and that he had since lost. Roughly two weeks on, the Beasts Pirates Headliner Holed'em arrived in Okobore Town to demand answers about supplies repeatedly taken from Paradise Farm. To shield the samurai who were said to be preparing a strike against Kaidou, the residents took the blame for the thefts themselves, an act that ended with their town set ablaze and their fates left uncertain.
