Receiving his father's severed head flipped him toward vengeance, and he resolved to slip into the next gathering and kill her, willing to fight through the guards to manage it.
Big Mom invited Jigra to a tea party, but he chose his mother's funeral instead and mailed a letter to explain. Her reply was the boxed head of his ailing father. When she obliviously invited him to the following party, he arrived armed for revenge. The Fire Tank Pirates running security barred him over a concealed weapon, and before he could open fire on two of Bege's men, Katakuri, having foreseen the killing, shot a jellybean clean through his forehead. The anime additionally ties him to the Organ Dealing Assassination Group, whose members shrugged off his death.
