Jumper

Jumper stands at roughly average build. The feature that sets him apart is a helmet built to resemble an American football, striped white and red, with a downward arrow aimed at his face. Like his fellow Gifters, a pair of horns juts from it. He dresses in a yellow shirt marked with the letters SB, purple gloves, and a matching purple scarf, and a blue-and-yellow tattoo of spots and stripes seems to run along his left arm.

His anime introduction looked rather different. There he had dark skin, no tattoo, and no gloves, wore a plain blue shirt and a yellow scarf, and sported a fully white helmet, blue headphones, and a bump on his forehead. A later revision brought him much closer to the original: his shirt became white and read SD, his trousers turned green, his helmet gained the arrow in red, and his scarf was recolored red as well.

Jumper carries himself with plenty of self-assurance, relishing the idea of taking down a foe to claim a place among the Tobiroppo. He is also fond of drink and celebration, having been seen holding a cocktail glass of liquor.

As a Gifter, Jumper consumed a Chinese Grasshopper SMILE, an artificial Zoan fruit that sprouts grasshopper wings and mandibles he uses to cut down opponents. Unlike most Gifters, he can switch the power on and off as he pleases. During the Beasts Pirates' festivities ahead of the Raid on Onigashima he stood among his comrades, and when Queen offered a Tobiroppo seat to whoever could beat the newly arrived Monkey D. Luffy, Jumper grew eager and remarked on the challenge. He afterward listened to King's report concerning the rebels and the command to slay Kouzuki Momonosuke. In the fighting that followed, Kurozumi Tama tamed Jumper along with Beegirl and Battaman, and the three then turned their strength against the Beasts Pirates.
