Appearance

Jutting from Holed'em's midsection, Kamijiro consists of nothing beyond a lion's head, a pair of legs, and a tail. His mane is patterned with circular stripes, and the tuft capping his tail repeats that striping while reaching roughly the size of the head.

Personality

Kamijiro holds a will all his own and can think and act apart from Holed'em. Their tempers run alike, both swift to violence and easy to anger, and his rage occasionally spills over into striking Holed'em outright. According to Holed'em's underlings, the lion lacks much intelligence, never appearing to understand that the two occupy a single body and so feel each other's pain.

History

Once Holed'em had the young girl Tama brought to his stronghold, Kamijiro shot him a glare; Holed'em answered by hitting the lion's head, and Kamijiro retaliated by clawing him in the groin, hurting them both at once. Later, after Luffy flung the yokozuna Urashima into Holed'em's house and demolished it, Kamijiro gripped Tama in his jaws while Holed'em squared off with Luffy, vowing to crush the girl should Luffy budge. Luffy moved regardless, snatched Tama loose in a heartbeat, and rounded on Holed'em, who had the lion breathe fire; Luffy strode out of the blaze unharmed and felled Holed'em with one punch, leaving Kamijiro still conscious.

When Holed'em revived afterward, the two glimpsed Kaidou in Kuri and shuddered as Oden Castle was reduced to rubble. At Komurasaki's funeral, Kamijiro growled while Holed'em ordered the men to flick on the Picture Tanishi for a broadcast, and the pair then watched Yasuie's execution. Far later, while Tama and Yamato were chasing down a sword thief in Udon, Holed'em sprang an ambush, and Kamijiro scorched Speed with his fire breath as the girl was seized yet again.
