Personality

Much like his namesake, Ichiro is a shy sort, shrinking nervously behind Ban when Tsuyoshi confronted them. What he lacks in boldness he makes up for in loyalty, putting full faith in his friends and roaring encouragement from the sidelines as Ban took on his opponent.

History

After Mugihara Ban picked up his very first pack of Kizuna Boost cards, the two boys headed to Pirate Park so Ichiro could walk him through the rules. Before he could finish, Donki Tsuyoshi cut in and snatched Ichiro's cards; an outraged Ban demanded their return, and Tsuyoshi answered with a challenge, vowing to give them back only if Ban could beat him in a match.

Ban quickly found himself outmatched and on the verge of losing, but Ichiro shouted from the edge of the action, urging him to try a Kizuna Boost. Realizing he could, Ban linked his Luffy and Zoro cards to overpower Tsuyoshi's Doflamingo, winning the game and reclaiming his friend's cards. With his deck restored, Ichiro looked on happily as Ban told Tsuyoshi he ought to go read One Piece.
