Lonz

Towering as a member of the giant race, Lonz keeps his face hidden behind a helmet resembling a medieval piece with a T-slotted visor, his long dark hair spilling out below it. Steel plates cap his shoulders over a white Marine coat trimmed with red at the wrists, and beneath that he layers a gray suit, a paler gray shirt, and brown trousers. An oversized fur belt circles his waist and appears to serve as the sheath for his axe. His features only flashed into view for a heartbeat when Whitebeard's quake bubble cracked the helmet apart, and even then they were hard to make out.

Lonz carries the firm sense of justice expected of a Marine, though whether he leans toward the moral or absolute interpretation is never settled. He also brims with self-assurance, enough that he was willing to rush at Whitebeard on his own. In battle he leans on the raw might of his race, since a giant's strength and durability dwarf those of an ordinary human, and as a vice admiral he commands subordinates and is assumed to wield Haki, while his weapon of choice is an enormous battle-axe.

At Marineford, Lonz stood watch near the execution scaffold alongside fellow vice admiral Lacroix and the rest of the Giant Squad as Sengoku laid bare Ace's lineage to the world. When the Whitebeard Pirates and their allies stormed the base to free Ace, he joined the brawl. Following the fall of Oars Jr. to Bartholomew Kuma, Lonz lunged at Whitebeard in a surprise strike, only for a quake-charged punch to shatter his helmet, destroy his axe, and toss him aside with ease. In the non-canon One Piece Film: Z, he later sat in on Fleet Admiral Sakazuki's conference about Zephyr's attack on the first Endpoint.
