History
For all his fearsome bulk, the octopus is no fighter and went down fast. Following a map handed over by the Macro Pirates, Hatchan tracked Mash down, beat him in a brief scuffle, and rushed off to rescue Camie, convinced the pirates had lied to him. Only after defeating Macro's crew did Hatchan learn of the compartment tucked inside Mash's hat; returning to open it, he recovered the recipe and sauce. He then hauled the beaten octopus and the sauce away to cook takoyaki for his crush Octopako, though he wound up serving the dish to the people of Headband Catfish Village instead. What became of Mash afterward is never revealed.
