Meadows is a gladiator who joined the Corrida Colosseum tournament in hopes of winning the Mera Mera no Mi. Assigned to D Block, he eventually let go of his greed and chose to fight alongside the Straw Hats against Donquixote Doflamingo.
A broad face and a fu manchu moustache mark this gladiator. Draped over his head as a hood is the spotted hide of a feline.
Greed colors him early on. Where a number of his fellow combatants opted to assist the Straw Hats, Meadows instead chased the bounties placed on them, and he would later confess that the prospect of riches had blinded him. Yet he is no stranger to humility once he recognizes a mistake, offering Luffy an apology and pledging to shield him from Doflamingo, a turn that reveals a selfless streak. His fighting skill is barely documented, though the very act of entering the arena hints at confidence in his own power.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Hoping to claim the Mera Mera no Mi, Meadows registered for the Corrida Colosseum and drew a place in D Block for the free-for-all. Once the field had thinned to twenty competitors, Cavendish's buried alter-ego Hakuba burst forth and mowed down the survivors of the block; Meadows took the blow and ended up flat on the arena floor. Far later, with the Birdcage raised and Luffy having brought Doflamingo to the brink, Meadows was one of dozens who rushed in to stall the warlord, granting Luffy a ten-minute window in which his Haki could regenerate, and he begged Luffy's pardon for being deceived. Their strikes on Doflamingo accomplished nothing on their own, yet the delay was enough: Luffy revived, brought the warlord down, and tore the Birdcage apart. Against Doflamingo, Meadows fights with a four-clawed device worn on his left hand, whereas the anime hands him an axe instead. The anime also reworks his defeat, with Acilia and Rebecca tossing him out of the ring rather than Hakuba cutting him down.
