Miyagi

Built thickset and male, Miyagi is a goat mink whose pale hair covers his frame. A pair of pointed horns juts from his crown, a long beard hangs from his chin, and he goes about in the white coat of a doctor over black trousers and black boots.

The chance to learn pulled him straight into helping with Inuarashi's recovery, since assisting Chopper after the duke woke offered something new to study. He came away awed by the way Chopper fused Sakura Kingdom medicine with Torino Kingdom herbalism. His curiosity reaches further still, for he often wonders just where Zunesha has been bound across a thousand years of walking the seas.

His trade as a doctor gives Miyagi genuine medical ability, backed by a remarkable medicine that can mend even a body wounded all over almost at once, though the relief carries a steep price: when its effect fades, the patient's agony returns twice as strong. As a mink, fighting comes naturally to him, and he can channel Electro. Once Caesar Clown had cleared away the poison gas Jack unleashed on the Mokomo Dukedom, Miyagi pitched in with Chopper to nurse the stricken minks. News that Inuarashi had stirred from his coma sent him and Tristan dashing after Chopper, and the three were tending the duke at his home when Wanda led the rest of the Straw Hats in; as night fell, Miyagi and Tristan dozed off. The following morning, Bariete's bell heralded arriving samurai, and the minks streamed into Kurau City, greeting Kin'emon and Kanjuro and proudly admitting they had concealed Raizo on the island. Terror swept through them when Zunesha cried out and the land shuddered, but quiet returned after the elephant, obeying Momonosuke, wiped out Jack's fleet in one strike. Miyagi then joined Chopper and others to treat Zunesha's hurt leg, praising the doctor's mingled skills while marveling at the creature's long, mysterious journey.

After the Mink Tribe stole into Wano Country, he stopped at Amigasa Village to look after Tama. Come the raid on Onigashima, he and Tristan reached the Live Stage to help Chopper churn out the cure for Queen's Ice Oni plague, firing the resulting Chopperphage out of a cannon. He caught Sanji's broadcast plea for aid, and when Sanji left the bandaged Zoro with them, Miyagi described the Zou recovery drug and its painful rebound before pressing the needle deep through the wrappings to deliver it. When King ordered Zoro killed before the medicine could finish working, Miyagi, Chopper, and Tristan fled with samurai bearing the swordsman, until Marco's defense let Zoro burst loose to confront King and Queen.

Once Zoro brought King down, Miyagi was taken aback to see Chopper shrink back to normal, while Chopper fretted over how the drug was affecting Zoro. The whole Live Floor lurched when Big Mom triggered basement explosives, and morale collapsed as Kaidou declared he had won, only for Luffy to revive and haul him skyward. With flames closing in on the Skull Dome, the castle was doused by Raizo and Jinbe using water drawn from Zou; after the island touched down safely on Wano and Nekomamushi proclaimed Luffy victorious, the three doctors set to work on the countless wounded. A week on, they were still mending the injuries of Luffy and Zoro as the two woke and dug into a feast.
