Monda is an orange Star Shark that once belonged to the Foxy Pirates as a pet. Sly by nature and a strong swimmer, he is best known as Capote's partner during the Davy Back Fight's Donut Race, and he drifted away from Foxy's crew at some point over the course of the timeskip.

In the non-canon film One Piece: Stampede, he is glimpsed leaping out of the sea off Delta Island as the Pirates Festival unfolded.
