Morkin

Morkin takes the form of a monkey with white fur and pink skin, distinguished by a strikingly long beard. For clothing he wears brown trousers fastened with a green belt, a black bead necklace far too big for him, a purple helmet kept in place by a red scarf wound about his head, and yellow bracelets that secure his claw weapons.

Like the captain he follows, Morkin is driven by greed. His naive streak surfaced in combat, where a missed swing at Brook left him bewildered and he was put down almost immediately afterward.

Each of Morkin's hands grips an enormous claw weapon, and he fights by thrusting his arms straight at whoever stands before him. That blunt tactic leaves him exposed to nimbler and more capable swordsmen, Brook chief among them. His crew had blown all their winnings at Gran Tesoro and set upon the Straw Hats to claw back their debts. From the Long Long Pirates' deck, Morkin let loose the vessel's primary cannon toward the Sunny, then climbed aboard and scaled the mast where Brook waited. He lashed out at the skeleton, but Brook flickered behind the attackers in a heartbeat and felled the whole group the instant his blade slid home.
