Mugon

Blue dominates Mugon's look, from his medium-length hair streaked with white to the lipstick he wears. His outfit layers a pale blue vest, trimmed in darker blue with shoulder pads, over a sash wound at the waist and patterned hakama in blue and white. Wrist guards and shoes in deep blue round out the trim, athletic figure.

Brash and full of himself, Mugon plays at being a dutiful underling while readily picking quarrels with anyone, his own captain included. That swagger pushes him to take swings at opponents far above his level, as when he repeatedly throws himself at Rob Lucci. Toward Buggy he stays loyal yet competitive, eager to help but quick to turn snide and frustrated whenever the captain steals his spotlight.

Mugon is a capable fighter, holding his own against Zoro for a time. His fatal flaw is that he drives his swordwork from the left arm, so an opponent who spots this and targets it can cripple him. He fights with a pair of katana and handles them skillfully, and he can also adapt to a single-blade style. In the 2018 show, hired alongside Buggy and Dandy by the Bounties Pirates to seize Caesar Clown back from Igaram Jr., he dueled Zoro twice; the second time Zoro noticed his left-led guard, struck it, and finished him. In the 2019 Water Battle, he schemed with Buggy and Galdino against Luffy's group, took a Gomu Gomu no Champion Rifle, tried twice to ambush Lucci only to be swatted aside by Shigan and tossed away, and was finally washed out alongside his allies with the audience's water.
