Nure-Onna

Round of face and eye, Nure-Onna has heavy lashes, a sharp nose, and long black hair split down the center. Her Gifter transformation gives her a wide serpentine mouth set with fangs and a forked tongue, while her neck stretches long and spotted, often leaving her hunched with both hands pressed to the floor. A flower sits in her hair above the left ear. Her base outfit is a green kimono dotted with rings of pale yellow circles, gathered at the waist by a dark blue obi and finished with white tabi.

Cruelty and trickery mark her conduct. She drew on Black Maria's illusion mist to take on the form of Robin's late mother as a means of deceiving her. Her allegiance lies firmly with Black Maria and the rest of the Beasts Pirates.

Once Black Maria had seized Sanji, Nure-Onna and the other Gifters ran him down and ringed him in after he collapsed. Maria strung him up in her webbing and beat him while demanding he scream for Robin, and to the surprise of the assembled Gifters he finally did. Robin and Brook arrived to free him, driving Maria back and slashing the web apart. During the fight Nure-Onna joined Tenjo-Sagari and Kunyun in using the illusion mist to pose as Robin's lost loved ones, but Robin saw through the ruse and struck them down. The Gifters pursued the pair through the Banquet Hall until Brook turned to face them. After Brook walled off Maria with ice and Robin defeated her, he seized the chance to finish Nure-Onna and the remaining subordinates with a single sweeping technique.
