Pudos

Towering well over Luffy, Pudos wears his bushy blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. His chest sits bare beneath an unbuttoned blue shirt, and spiked gray pauldrons trimmed with gold and lined with fur rest on his shoulders above a pair of black trousers.

He relishes the authority he holds over the captives of Udon, and he openly savored the thought of crushing Luffy's will. A short fuse makes him quick to violence, ready to lash out over nothing more than a hard stare. Among his fellows, though, he turns cheerful and chatty, happy to talk and field their questions.

Stationed near the mine's entrance, Pudos listened as a crewmate puzzled over the poisonous fish being fed to a hidden prisoner, who was in fact the samurai Kawamatsu; Pudos knew only that the bones had to be stripped out first. When Luffy was led in as the newest inmate, Pudos sized him up, caught the fire in his eyes, and relished the idea of breaking him. Luffy's glare offended him enough to reach for his sword, but Kawamatsu spat out the unstripped skeleton of his meal, driving the bones into Pudos's neck and leaving the guard wailing as blood gushed out. He proved far from durable, dropped by that single thrown fishbone.
