Ratatoskr is a fabled ice squirrel said to have stood beside the "Warrior God" centuries ago. Legend holds that its spirit endures within the hammer Ragnir, which can take on a creature resembling it after absorbing the Risu Risu no Mi, Model: Ratatoskr.
Ratatoskr takes the form of a huge squirrel covered in pale fur, broken only by three dark stripes running along its spine from head to tail tip. Its ears and snout end in points. The creature was sizable enough to hold its own visually beside the towering Warrior God, appearing in Jarul's account of the battle to be nearly the equal of Nika in scale.
Faithful to its master and trusted by him, Ratatoskr turned its hostility on his foe, the Sun God Nika. If it truly lives on as Ragnir, that loyalty has been borne out by the fierce, centuries-long guard it has kept over the Warrior God's Devil Fruit.

Ratatoskr is a fabled ice squirrel said to have stood beside the Warrior God centuries ago, and legend holds its spirit endures within the hammer Ragnir.
Ratatoskr itself is not a Devil Fruit; it is a legendary ice squirrel, though the hammer Ragnir can take on a form resembling it after absorbing the Risu Risu no Mi, Model: Ratatoskr.
Ratatoskr's true strength is not detailed, but because legend says it fought the Sun God Nika alongside the Warrior God, it is presumed to have possessed real combat ability.
Ratatoskr's spirit is believed to live on within the hammer Ragnir, which can transform into a squirrel-like creature resembling Ratatoskr, though the transformed weapon differs slightly from the legendary depiction, bearing buck teeth and rounded ears.
According to legend, Ratatoskr fought the Sun God Nika centuries ago while standing at the side of its master, the Warrior God, whom it served faithfully.
