Ricca

Among his features, Ricca is a small child whose eyes are black and whose hair runs a deep blue, with one tooth missing from his smile. For clothing he sports an unbuttoned vest in vivid blue carrying a floral design, denim trousers, brown loafers, and a hat colored in magenta and white.

Determination defines Ricca, who would try anything to help himself and Tempo work off what their family owed, all while nursing a wish to strike back at Gild Tesoro's grip. Hardship had soured him, however, leaving him resigned to a life of permanent servitude. That resignation broke when Luffy rose up against Tesoro, and Ricca discovered the bravery to take part in the fight and lend the captain his aid.

Ricca's family once traveled to Gran Tesoro, only to sink into crushing debt. As a result, he and his younger sister Tempo were put to work across the city, scraping together money to settle what was owed.

When the Straw Hat Pirates reached the first-class district, Ricca, Tempo, and a handful of other children swarmed them, pushing overpriced flowers to chip away at their families' debts before Baccarat shooed them off. Trouble found the siblings again inside the Wild Cow restaurant, where Tesoro's men were on the verge of attacking them until Double Down stepped in and absorbed the children's punishment. Luffy, who was nearby, asked why they had not resisted, but Ricca shot back that resistance was pointless and that Luffy could not grasp their plight, then bolted from the restaurant with Tempo behind him. Soon after, the two stood outside as screens flickered to life showing Tesoro crushing Luffy, and the sight of that defeat drained the last of Ricca's hope, sending him fleeing.

The tide turned later, while the Straw Hats clashed with Tesoro's crew and Spandam took Luffy captive. Ricca dashed in and blocked Spandam's finishing strike with a pipe, then crumpled to the ground as Tesoro's men closed on him, only for Raise Max and his group to reach the boy and urge him to fight at their side against the crew. After Tesoro fell, Ricca boarded a vessel with a crowd of other residents and sailed away from Gran Tesoro.
