Roddy

Roddy is a large bull mink with orange skin, a small nose, and two big horns. Light orange hair, shaggy and bison-like, spills down his back. He dresses in dark clothing topped by a light-colored cape draped over his shoulders, and a sizable sword hangs hidden beneath it.

Roddy takes guarding the Whale Forest from intruders with deadly seriousness, attacking Monkey D. Luffy for entering without leave even though Luffy was a friend of Bepo. True to his bull nature, fluttering objects like cloth distract and infuriate him, and he has a habit of working a "moo" into his speech.

As a mink, Roddy is a born warrior, strong and tough enough to trade even blows with Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Kane while injured. He commands Electro like all minks and can enter a Sulong transformation under a full moon, and he carries a large sword whose mastery is unknown. When Jack's Beasts Pirates invaded Zou hunting for Raizo, Roddy and the other Guardians fought them across a five-day battle until Caesar Clown's Koro gas poisoned the minks, leaving them to be saved later by Sanji's group. He also freed Tony Tony Chopper from his chains after Sanji was taken away by Capone Bege. During the Zou Arc, Roddy and Blackback attacked Luffy in the Whale Forest until Carrot pacified the bull mink with a fluttering cloth that left his horns lodged in a tree, after which he withdrew on Pedro's order and later apologized. He rushed to Kurau City for the arrival of the samurai, panicked when Zunesha cried out and shook the island, and was calmed once Zunesha sank Jack's returning fleet. Denied a spot on the Sanji Retrieval Team, he stayed on Zou, then joined Nekomamushi's search for Marco and ultimately fought at Onigashima during the Fire Festival, transforming into Sulong with the other minks.
