Lean of frame and wheat-toned in skin, Rubis sports a crop of white hair and eyes of vivid red.

Her loyalty runs to Gad, whose failure she sets out to avenge by hunting the Straw Hat Pirates, an effort that ends in her own defeat at their hands. She also carries a short fuse, quick to flare into temper.

Being a fish-woman grants Rubis roughly ten times the strength of an ordinary human while on land, a figure that doubles again once she is submerged. She proved as much by shattering a sizable whirlpool of water. Her chosen weapon is a spear, which she handles with evident skill, using it to fling Sanji away when he tried to get close to her and her companions Saphir and Emeraude. Her arsenal includes Rouge Foudroyant, a forceful thrusting strike whose name means "devastating red" in French, and Archange Tricolore, a joint move with Saphir and Emeraude in which the three summon spiraling, multicolored columns of water to hit several foes together, its name translating to "tricolor archangel."
